Sticky & Super Tasty
Print recipe
These sweet and sticky Chicken Nibbles are perfect for weekend BBQ's or for when you need nibbles and fast. Always a treat, easy to prepare (and even easier to eat), this recipe is a winning combination for knockout nibbles.
Method
Take the Chicken Nibbles and season with salt and pepper. Note: If you are beginning with Chicken wings, simply cut in half for nibbles.
Set up your Charmate Corona Kettle BBQ with a chimney of Heat Beads Briquettes with two pieces of Charmate Manuka Wood Chunks on top. Let this run until it reaches 450-500°F.
Place the Chicken Nibbles around the Kettle and cook for 30 minutes before flipping and smoking for a further 15 minutes, ensuring the internal temperature reaches at least73°C (163.4°F). Transfer to a bowl and put aside. While the Nibbles are cooking, combine all glaze ingredients together in a bowl.
Take the glaze ingredients prepared earlier and bring to the heat in a Cast Iron Pan directly over the coals until thickened.
Once thickened, pour over the Chicken Nibbles in a bowl and toss, coating all nibbles in the sticky glaze before transferring back to the kettle to set the glaze for 5-10 minutes.
Serve on a plate with a squeeze of lemon and get in quick before they all go!
